An upper lip lift is a great option for improving the size of the lips in a subtle and elegant fashion. Our preferred approach is the Modern Lip Lift where the incision is hidden under the nose along the lip/nose junction. This will shorten the distance between the lip and the nose, resulting in a more youthful appearance and improved definition of the lip border and philtral columns. Patients will often also have increased tooth show, improved pink lip volume, and decreased need for lip fillers. This procedure can be performed under IV sedation or simply local anesthesia, depending on patient preference.
