Case #2099 - Scar Revision

Scar revision was performed to improve the scar’s orientation along natural wrinkles in the forehead, flatten out the scar, and remove the irregularities and suture marks from closure in the emergency room by another physician. The scar will fade more and more over the course of 9-12 months.

Case #4707 - Surgical

This woman had undergone thyroidectomy and left neck dissection for treatment of thyroid cancer and was left with an undesirable left neck scar. Approximately 18 months after her surgery she underwent a single fractional CO2 laser treatment, which helped to flatten and reduce the hyperpigmentation of the scar. These pictures demonstrate the result approximately one month after this initial treatment, and she can expect to see continued improvement with subsequent CO2 laser treatments performed at approximately 6-week intervals.

Individual results may vary.
